About the interview

I had been following Lydia on facebook as I had watched her in several Nollywood and Ghanaian movies. On facebook I was very taken in by her boldness, being very vocal about a variety of topics. I also saw how she got a lot of slack for what she said. I could relate to alot of her views and made a mental note to self that I would love to have her on Indigo Tongues. Fast forward many years later, I planned a last minute trip to Accra for my Birthday. I reached out to her on facebook to let her know I will be in town and asked her if she would be interested in an interview and she said yes. On my arrival in Accra I called her only to learn that she had been unwell. Despite this, she still managed to make it to the interview and I had a blast talking to her and getting to meet the young lady behind all those feisty posts! Thank you Lydia!!!
